Sunday, Oct. 14th, Drive to Vogel National Park

The Sunday Drive started at Flashback Motorworks which is north of Atlanta, amazing people and facility.  More amazing, is that this is a four year old business!

About halfway to the curvy part of the trip, we stopped to top off the gas tanks.

I'm fairly confident that nobody seen here was bragging about fuel mileage!

Here's the map with our route.

This was the start up the mountain, three of us ( Ford GT, my Pantera and a Cobra ) went slightly ahead of the main group and scouted the road ahead in some spirited bursts of driving.

Once at the end of our journey to Vogel National Park, we enjoyed a picnic and shared car tales.

This is Joni and I as we were photographed on the dam looking back at the lake at Vogel

This is a part of the frontside of the dam, the photo is decieving, that's about a 200 foot drop and only about 40 feet of extention, it was quite steep.

Totally Spring fed lake, cystal clear water, see the fish?

Just a touch of fall colors as touristas gathered to scope out our cars

The spirited drive back was

lead by a Ferrari 512BB, the Cobra and my Pantera.

Fun was had by all, the brave passengers all had white knuckles and nobody got a ticket!
